Named after my great great great grandmother who was the wife to be, of a king she wasn’t in love with. She loved what she thought was a solder in Begoro, Ghana, one day she decides to run off with the b soldier to his town only to find out he is the king of that town. These waist-beads are a reverence to Adwapa and also a confirmation that when you choose love, prosperity will always be with you and symbol of contentment, honor, abundance and reassurance that love always wins.
